Visit Detroit Magazine

This full-color consumer magazine has a circulation of 200,000 (600,000 copies annually), is published three times a year and is the DMCVB’s most widely distributed publication. Our distribution network includes: metro Detroit hotels and guests, travel agents and their clients, meeting and convention delegates, telephone and Web site inquiries and newsstand and subscription sales. Copies are also placed at Michigan Welcome Centers and area brochure racks. If you're a metro Detroit visitor, this magazine is one of the most read and consulted destination resources you can find.


Ad Cost
Prices range from $915 to $5,860 based on color, size, frequency and position.

 

 


Metro Detroit Visitor's Map

Another highly requested publication; this full size fold out map is printed in full color and folds to a standard rack brochure size. The circulation is at 200,000 copies. Our distribution network includes: metro Detroit hotels and guests, travel agents and their clients, meeting and convention delegates and telephone and Web site inquiries. Copies are also placed at Michigan Welcome Centers and area brochure racks.

Visit Detroit TV

Visit Detroit TV compliments Visit Detroit magazine. Each video segment is shown once per hour in participating metro Detroit hotel rooms, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. Members may elect to purchase a 30 or 60 second ad. The DMCVB also uses the video for sales and service tradeshows. The video is updated every March and August. Value added: Video segments are incorporated into the DMCVB website at www.visitdetroit.com; available at State of Michigan Welcome Centers, select motor coaches and select bed & breakfast inns.

Hotels wishing to participate must dedicate an in-house cable station to show Visit Detroit TV. There is NO cost for the VHS/DVD guide or to show the video at a hotel.

Approximate Ad Cost
$2,700 for a 30-second spot - $3,700 for a 60-second spot.
