Custom Pole Banners
Coordination of city permits and coordinating with local vendors to print and hang banners (downtown only)
Posters
Welcome posters at the airport, restaurants and hotels where your delegates are staying to make them feel welcome
Welcome Speaker
Bureau Services is your direct connect to request local government representatives, local celebrities and personalities
Welcome Letters
Facilitate obtaining welcome letters from local officials such as the governor of Michigan, mayors of the metropolitan Detroit region
Brochures
In order to build attendance, we will provide you with promotional brochures at no cost
Airport Welcome Program
Working with a representative of the airport authority to obtain permission to have welcome tables with information for convention delegates
Airport Shuttle
The DMCVB will work with you to obtain competitive transportation bids
Volunteer Training
With an extensive database of volunteers, a representative from DMCVB will assess your convention needs and will work with you to coordinate volunteers for your conference.
People Mover Convention Pass (downtown conventions)
A very convenient program for large and small conventions –Make getting around the city hassle free. The Detroit People Mover provides day passes—Ride all day with the One-Pass Program! Your convention services representative will work with the Detroit People Mover to facilitate the passes.
Dine Around
Looking for activities for your delegates? We will help you coordinate a dine-around with our fabulous downtown member restaurants.
Spousal and Children Program (shopping, dining, arts & crafts)
There are many attractions throughout metropolitan Detroit, from shopping to a factory tour. We will help you develop an itinerary for your spousal and children programs.
Service Lead Program
Our dedicated staff is ready to assist exhibitors with service needs. When you need service information fast, use our Service Lead form. This is a convenient tool and makes a nice addition to the show or exhibit manuals. Simply check off the categories you’d like information on and fill out the form, and then fax it to your Services representative. We’ll solicit bids on your behalf instantly. This form is also located at www.visitdetroit.com.
