Thank you for your interest in metro Detroit. The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau is happy to assist qualified travel media with suggested itineraries and to facilitate visits to attractions and other points of interest you intend to cover in your story.

From media requesting our assistance with a visit, we request the following:

· A letter of assignment, including topics to be covered and the publication/air date, on letterhead from the media outlet you are representing.

· A recent sample of travel-related articles or coverage in the form of print clippings that show your byline and publication date, VHS tape or audiocassette of coverage you have previously produced.

· An original copy of your published feature, VHS tape or audiocassette on your visit to Detroit as well as notification of air dates.

We require a minimum of 2 weeks notice for a media visit once we have received and verified credentials to allow time to make all necessary arrangements.

Lodging assistance is provided at the discretion of the host and is subject to availability. We look forward to working with you!
