• Target key trade publications for feature articles about Detroit: Leverage advertising partnerships for value added editorial.
• Attend Pow Wow Media Marketplace to reach international trade media with Detroit updates.
• Attend and exhibit at travel media group conferences (Society of American Travel Writers, United States Travel Association (Pow Wow).
• Prepare quarterly story ideas tip sheet.
• Host a Detroit overview for local bloggers to acquaint them with key metro Detroit attractions to shape content of future blogs and spread our messaging to their online audiences.
• Cooperate with industry partners on their media hosting opportunities as they become available.
• Host individual media with customized itineraries throughout the year.
• Host international media fam tours in conjunction with Delta Airlines.
• Host media fam tour in co-op with Travel Michigan.
