Novi's Twelve Oaks Mall boasts 1.5 million square feet of shopping space and 20 retailers, including Lord & Taylor, Macy's and Michigan's only Martin+ Osa.

The Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township is an open-air shopping center (don't let that scare you away in the winter -- the mall features heated sidewalks and a 30-foot fireplace) anchored by Parisian and Nordstrom. In addition to a large number of shops and stores, it includes unique amenities such as the previously mentioned fireplace, bocce ball courts and a dog-friendly atmosphere.

For value shopping with a dose of sophistication, check out the Great Lakes Crossing outlet mall in Auburn Hills, where you'll find discount stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue's Off 5th, Bass Pro Outdoor World and Neiman Marcus Last Call.

In Canton shoppers will find the very recognizable big blue building known as Ikea. Michigan's first and only Ikea store houses a multitude of home furnishings, as well as a cafeteria and children's play area. Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn features a dynamic mix of department and specialty retailers. 

For distinct shopping head to the numerous boutiques in our downtown districts. Throughout The D you'll find places such as Pewabic Pottery, American Pop!, The Twisted Shamrock, Smokey's Fine Cigars, Detroit Athletic Co., and more. In addition, some of the best items are available at attraction gift shops, including the Detroit Institute of Arts, The Henry Ford and the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
