WJBK Fox2 Detroit reporter Ronnie Dahl will be our honorary Grand Marshal and act as host of the day’s festivities. The goal of Run for Literacy is to continue to raise awareness of the growing demand for mental health services and the stigma that keeps people from seeking help. It is also an effort for greater awareness linking physical well being with mental well being, as obesity is a problem in all age brackets nationwide. Proceeds from the run will help fund the Literacy Program, which provides an opportunity for adults residing in Wayne County to increase their skills, competencies and confidence, leading toward independence.

$20 by April 15th; $25 day of race; 12 and under FREE.
