

| Manager, Advertising The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau, the organization charged with marketing and selling metro Detroit as a convention & tourism destination, is seeking an experienced marketing professional with extensive knowledge of print production, graphic design, media buying, sales promotion, direct marketing, tradeshow marketing, video production, and market research. This position serves as the marketing liaison to sub-contract firms retained to facilitate the delivery of our marketing message and brand identity, as well as to internal departments to insure that the message is tailored to our customer needs and is consistent. Requirements: · BA/BS degree in marketing, advertising, business or communications · 5 + years’ related experience · Experience in an agency environment · Experience acting as primary liaison with clients
Preferred: · Experience in the hospitality industry · Working knowledge of metro Detroit regional offerings as they apply to tourism
